What is Bloom?

Counter Culture Coffee commits to supporting sustainability at each stage of the supply chain. The Bloom fund supports this initiative at the cafe level. Rooted in the belief that everyone’s path toward sustainability looks a little different, this program supports sustainability projects of all shapes and sizes.

Bloom mirrors our Seeds program, which supports sustainability initiatives for Counter Culture’s coffee-producing partners. We fund each program by setting aside one penny per pound of coffee sold. Just like we set aside $1 per pound of Iridescent winter blend sales for Seeds, Bloom receives $1 for every pound sold of Perennial, our Spring limited-release blend.

Available for social, fiscal, and environmental initiatives, Counter Culture Wholesale Partners may receive grants to fund self-determined sustainability projects.

Application Process:

Strong applications have clear goals, provide specifics about how the funds will be used, establish metrics for the success of the initiative, and make a strong case for the environmental, social, and/or financial sustainability benefit that will result from the project.

  • 3 months from grant issuance: Providing updates on the progress of the project.
